About Cat Brocksieker
I am originally from Berkeley, California. When I retired from the Navy after 20 years of service in 2004, I decided to go back to school and take advantage of my GI bill. I took a digital photography class which ended up changing my course in life. I started with my nephew’s wedding and since then I’ve covered over 20 weddings and numerous events. I recently relocated from South Carolina to Lorain County, Ohio in June of 2008. My husband Dale is my partner, I do nothing without him.
Photography to me is an ongoing learning process due to the continual growth of the digital age and technology. I take online classes with New York Institute of Photography to keep my abilities and techniques up to date.
My specialty is Wedding photography, my choice of photographic style is Photo Journalism - I let the photos tell the story. I am prepared to do formal shoots if desired. This year I have branched off to on location portraiture, seniors and family portraits. Call me when you need a photographer for your special events or gathering. I do not have a studio but prefer to go on location for more natural shots with natural lighting or flash.
The most important thing you need to know about us is we live to glorify our awesome God . It would be my greatest honor in having the opportunity to record your memories through my God-given ability.
